What a great wedding to be asked to photograph, the wedding of Brad and Lisa. After a few days of sunshine, Saturday was grey skies and dark clouds throughout weatherwise. But everyone at Brad and Lisa’s wedding made the sun shine whatever. The day started with what could only be called a marathon of picture taking, there were the preparations of four gorgeous bridesmaids, the fantastically laid back bride’s mother Sue and our lovely bride of course, Lisa. The ceremony took place at the recently redecorated church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Redditch, in charge of proceedings was Father Michael, whose relaxed attitude to taking photographs was refreshing, it was an absolute pleasure to meet Father Michael. The reception was at Redditch Golf Club where the grounds made a fantastic backdrop to the bride and groom portraits. The whole day progressed easily and Brad and Lisa were totally enthusiastic in to giving their time for the portraits despite the weather being overcast and very chilly.
It was a privilege to be a part of their day, and what a superb pig roast.
